I spent a good deal of the beginning of this week and last planning for lastnight that I ended up forgetting yesterday was my birthday. Gaming life sure is taking over mine. Not that I mind that much anyway. But, lastnight came with another successful Halo Party! Cept this time, we had 3xboxes played on 3separate TVs!
Initially, we were supposed to have like 4xboxes, bt one of the guys who was supposed to bring his xbox cudn't make it - bt 3xboxes, 12players per game, all in one room was crazy enough! A lot of people came, and definitely more than 12 people. I even managed to make this one guy, who usually watches us play, to play Halo! We had enough for 16, heck we had more people than that - but only 12 were allowed. So people who wanted to play had to switch. Still, we had no problems with that.
The best part of that night was playing a 12player Team Slayer match on Coagulation - watchin at 10 Spartans and Covenants on the wide open field fragging each other was a sight to see. if only we had 16players... it wud've been bliss.
The party started at about 5.30pm, after putting a lot of thought into setting up the room to a strategic setting. After all that was done, all hell broke lose. The wrath of Halo on 3 connected consoles was felt for the first time in my living room. The game continued on, non-stop, only to increase the number of players until the max - then my parents called everyone for dinner - a mini birthday party for me - which made it kind of an official birthday part. But I didnt mind. Then, after dinner - chaos came upon the living room again! Things kept going, some people went home, but we still had enough players. 5am, I felt tired. The host had to retire. Woke up at 12, only to find that they were still playing Halo! 2pm, some started to leave. 4pm, the party officially ended - breaking the running time of our last Halo Party. The longest Halo Party ever, 23hours running straight. How crazy was that?
